Dear Mr. Aaron Sorkin,
Hello I am Christian Elias, I have secured the life rights from ATARI Creator Mr. Ted Dabney to forward a prestigious bio movie on the evolution of how Atari came to be for him upon back in the very early days. I am warmly entering to introduce myself to you and per the grand endeavor we have ahead. I cordially enter to ask for your honorable participation with me to our biopic dramatizing early days of Atari, when then called as “Syzygy”, it will re-enact sketches of the first video games released and we intend to use the actual arcade halls that still exist in California where arcades were first played in now for re-enactment scenes into this exciting company creators bio endeavor. We will be approaching top Hollywood major studios for biopic developing helming and seeking out an A list star actor to play Ted Dabney upon in the 1969 circa, and of those associated with Ted Dabney. When you have a chance, kindly reach out to us for great conversation regarding at 321 362 5735 and that would be great! We all look forward to glorifying the early creations of the Atari phenomenon, when known as “Syzygy” in the 1969 circa, and glorifying theatrical audiences abroad the splendor and magic that Atari would in fact bring to arcade halls, following into video home computer systems as of the early 1980’s, and onward through history. 🙂

Sam Seaborn for America!!!…Just a suggestion. Thanks.
February 25, 2016 at 5:53 pm
it’s a corny show, “Billions” on Showtime Networks, on allot of levels but Maggie Siff is very “juicy”……
Siff’s character is a psycho-pomp. I didn’t realize till later that I’m not envious of Axe’s money or Chuck’s legal power but instead I long for Wendy (Siff) . “Everyone knows it’s Windy”.
In last nights episode Wendy uses her beauty and intelligence to provoke Bobby Axelrod when she says,
” You’re not accepting that certain things are out of your control, and it’s causing you to lose more control. If you want’ to get it back , if you really want to survive this thing, then you may need to set aside the peace of you that’s raging and do something that makes you a little uncomfortable.”
Billionaire, Ugly Duckling and Wendy
Actor Damian Lewis plays an investment Banker, Bobby Axelrod on Showtime Networks.
It’s curious that Lewis and Paul Giamatti, are mediated by the beautiful Maggie Siff.
Siff character, Wendy Rhoades M.D, psychiatrist, is an in-house performance coach
at Axe Capital and wife of U.S. Attorney Chuck Rhoades.
In last nights opening scene Siff and Lewis get into a hot-tub naked at an unspecified location.
Their intent is not to have sex but to discuss investment banking and legal strategy. It’s a
unusual scene because one doesn’t know if Lewis and Siff will have sex
until the episode unfolds.
We are also told that Bobby Axelrod ( Lewis’ character)
will not compromise in an impeding legal battle. Giamatti or
U.S. Attorney Chuck Rhoades wants to prevent “Axe”
from ever trading again.
Naturally Aaron Sorkin ( the shows creator) is giving us a portrait
of how he views Wall Street traders and investment bankers.
Giamatti, is the Ugly Duckling married to Siff.
One at this point could walk away a little miffed.
But Siff is a psychotherapeutic muse for both Lewis and Giamatti,
and She plays the role well. One can’t decide whether Siff is loyal
to Giamatti or Lewis. It seems she is in service of no one.
A duplex or mercurial character, Siff uses her physical beauty
and intelligence to promote reason in Giamatti and Lewis.
I’m envious of the Ugly Duckling, Giamatti. Not because He
is a powerful U.S. Attorney but because of Maggie Siff
is his wife, though I would never want their lives
But Lewis, Giamatti and Siff does
give us a sniff of what power
and passion can look like.

Thanks for the Newsroom. I’ve avoided TV since the Brady Bunch and Partridge Family in the 1970s (for good reason). It’s fun to watch something that is not stupid. Also the concept of political hope (and being outspoken for the cause of facts and truth) for the America we do love is so cheering. Good work! (We’re watching because we’d usually be out kayaking but my partner broke his leg and we’re waiting for surgery on Monday. What a great gift this show is. Thank you.)

Hi. Few good men was a very good job.
But this play got references to The Verdict, the Sidney Lumet film,
I´d like you speak about the inspiration AAron Sorkin found on this great David Mamet´s sript.

I realize asking for a Cap and hat from Aaron Sorkin seems drastic but WB’s isn’t forthcoming so I thought I would go to someone with clout.
September 11, 2016 at 1:40 am
I just finished watching the last episode of The Newsroom. It made me cry. It made me cry and think. The whole series did that. You sure know how to tell a story. Your sure know how to tell all three sides. You sure know. One of these days, if you have the time and the inclination, you might want to look me up. You might want to because I have a story, a whopper. You might want to because I have a story and I need a way to tell it. I am nobody, less than that. So often the best comes that way. Proven by history – all the way back.

November 10, 2016 at 5:18 pm
Did you write a letter to your daughter when Hilary’s husband Bill accepted a blow job while President of the US in the White House by a young innocent Monica Lewinsky? And Hilary stood behind her man. Explain that to your daughters!
November 10, 2016 at 6:12 pm
Aaron, you are an idiot to teach your children that Donald Trump and racism won yesterday. Those “beloofs”, (my term for erroneous beliefs formed during trauma; see “Of Endings and Beginnings; A Memoir of Discovery and Transformation”, link below) are archaic and immature. Life is much more complex than “winning” and “losing”. Life is a process of changing, and I teach my daughters that change and pain are inevitable but suffering is optional. Why would you want to teach your children to suffer? I’ve been through as many elections as you have, perhaps more. My learning is that life is a paradox, and we have unlimited potentials no matter what the circumstances. I choose hope over despair and know deep in my heart that love trumps all. Sorry to be so blunt…but that’s me.
November 10, 2016 at 9:16 pm
you are such a piece of garbage writing that letter full of lies and misconceptions. Are you for real?
From A Deplorable.
November 13, 2016 at 4:35 pm
Man, are you an embarrassment of a man, worse yet, a father. Heard your words to your daughter and all I can say is….thank Gd you’re not the father of my children!!! Loving in a country that has given you the freedom and opportunities that it is…shame in you for showing no respect for our future president. That’s what you teach your children?? How about teaching them some respect. You should be ashamed of yourself. And in turn for all your disrespect of our incoming president, I hope you are stripped of all the opportunities you’ve had in your life till now. Shame on you!!!!! Embarrassed to know you are a fellow American.

I think I’ve seen most of your stuff by now– stuff that I didn’t even know was yours until I heard some ring to it. I happened by the 10 yr anniversary (Austin?) on YouTube and I loved the clowning they did and you, the ringmaster, with all of words (that’s not to say you’re a busker) and synchronization of chaos. I think I am on my 5 th binge on West Wing.. seems like a biannual itch. Not until Brad noted that the dialog was metered did I “get” it.
I also wondered about the “term paper” you had to deliver every week. I can’t imagine how it would be possible to hang things just right on such a short time frame. I figure you must work and work and work. I am a teacher; apples were historically given as deference but now they are given to keep the blood sugar up! because teachers rarely eat during the day. To this day, apples are my favorite “meal”.. I would surely offer you a pink lady apple both out of deference and, for holy hell, to keep up that blood sugar!
One last thing: I can’t imagine you have time to read but I’ve been reading David Foster Wallace lately; He was, mostly, genius–MacArthur folks thought so. I’m trying to read chronologically back to Amherst forward. Infinite Jest is sooo long but worth the wait. I watched some YouTube DFW video interviews last week.. You can hear his cadence as you read. Like you, he nuanced with brillant clowns. cheers to you, Aaron, Cynthia

Mr. Sorkin I’ve been working on an old movie to contemporize that I believe, could change the world. I have visualized many scenes, however, have been in doubt with portions of the script and while watching Newsroom, it came to me, that it is a project that would be better off handled by you…Would like to discuss this with you..

Our family still loves watching West Wing and News Room. Is there any possible way that you would ever do a spin off of West Wing where Sam becomes president? We miss your shows so much and would love to see something from you. In the mean time, we will continue watching re-runs.

Seriously the best leadership and loyalty lessons ever created on the screen!! Every other episode touches what i believe are the most important leadership traits and values. If ever i get a chance to pass on my own leadership experiences in my small instructional booklet in a setting that needs visuals, i will absolutely use scenes and lessons from the West Wing.

Hello there. My name is Garet Carlson. I’m a long time fan of the West Wing, among other Aaron Sorkin works. I’m reaching out to simply suggest that The West Wing be remade staring Rob Lowe as president in modern times (2018). I feel like West Wing set him up throughout the show to ultimately become president. Rob Lowe is currently experiencing a new peak in his popularity, and is deserving of a starring role in something of this magnitude.
Furthermore, original West Wing stars such as Allison Janney are currently also peaking in terms of their career. A show headlining Rob Lowe and Allison Janney, combined with the numerous stars who would be interested in participating in such a momentous remake, would be too hard to pass up.
Finally, I feel considering the present political climate with Trump and the complete and utter despair this country is feeling, we all could use a show like West Wing on the air once again to inspire hope in all of us. The people NEED West Wing on TV again, just as they did during the Bush years. I truly believe West Wing could and should be remade either on one of the major networks, or ideally Netflix, who I believe has the sorting of funding which would be required to get a remake of The West Wing off the ground.
Thanks for your time and I hope at least consideration is given to the idea.
May 18, 2018 at 7:36 pm
I’ve heard you proclaim that you would be interested in reviving the show if you had a good idea. I have your good idea(s). I am nothing if not an idea guy.

Hi. I’ve posted this before but no one has gotten back to me yet. So I thought to try again just in case.
I’ve been a coffee bean customer for 20 years. So when your app came along I figured I should at least get a couple freebies as I built up points.
After Android “up”graded my OS, and I clicked on your app I was asked to sign in.
When I did the 270 points accumulated turned to zero before my eyes (like a clock running backwards).
I then got a message congratulating me for being a new customer and will get something free as soon as I reached 50 points! You can imagine my shock when I was expecting to reach Platinum(?) status by needing only 30 more points.
Thanks for your help.
July 17, 2018 at 8:56 pm
Please disregard this last message. My “friend” sent it to you instead of to the Coffee Bean site.
But I still need to hear if you are interested in helping me flesh out my Fringe Festival pop opera: Kabaret LA (The Cure for LaLa Land).
As soon as I hear back I will direct you to the YouTube video.

To restart the West Wing after all these years, use the Hartsfield Landing episode from season 3 as jumping off point…Bartlett tells Sam Seaborn that he’ll be president one day while playing chess. Bring back the others or most of the others the same way Bush 43 brought Rumsfeld and Cheney back after 30 years from their time in the Ford White House…then you can write it out from there.

First-time caller, long-time admirer. I am writing to ask you, what is a favour to me, for which I have no reason to expect and yet I am going to try anyway. My girlfriend’s birthday is coming up and well its a big one. I won’t mention what age because, it’s un-gentlemanly to do so, but nether-less to say, its a fairly important one. When we first met, around 6 years ago we actually bonded over our love for the West Wing and then later the Newsroom, so it wouldn’t be a lie to say that your great work has certainly had a place in our relationship. My girlfriend’s birthday is coming up on 22nd September and I was going to ask, if you wouldn’t mind, if you could possibly write a small birthday message to her. I know you’ll have far more pressing and possibly lucrative matters to attend to, however, if you can find time to do this, I would be forever grateful. If you need any further details then my email address is part of this form but I will leave it below:

Dear Mr. Sorkin,
I’m a writer myself and a long-time fan. THE AMERICAN PRESIDENT is a great film. My wife and I are enjoying THE WEST WING while traveling in Europe.
You may be way ahead of us on this, but we think a parody version of the series, set in the present day — WW 2019 — would be a hoot. Actually, it would probably work best as a play — maybe even a musical. New Yorkers would turn out in droves, in part because Trump has screwed many of them personally.
The key would be to use only the insane crap that has actually happened over the last few years. There’s plenty to work with, of course. Trump will hit you with six lawsuits, but you can only be sued for libel if you’re actually making things up. In any case, I think judges would allow the show to go on while things get sorted out.
Hope you can make this happen. I’m happy to help, but I doubt you’ll need it. In any case, best wishes. Kevin

Hey Thank You again for letting me be a part of one of your projects! ((Ttoc7))
11/14/2019 was another great day!
I so like working for you on these projects! I don’t even care about getting paid. I just like the fact you know what your doing and your films turn out great!! It’s been a honor working for you!
I’m from pa but will travel for you. I have a little hick up but I have been working on the craft to get better! You can look at my work on you tube! I know you don’t have time but maybe. The reason i said hickup is because i had brain damage! I don’t use that as an excuse tho, I will do whatever it takes to have a special part in one of your films (( just saying ))
Your The Best Aaron!
And west wing don’t fret over the past! It was great! The ideas come from Aaron. So that’s what i think about that!

I may be the last person on this Planet to see “The Newsroom” but I just wanted to “Thank You” for this brilliant work! I am generally not a Hollywood follower…..but this is the best writing and performance I have seen in my almost 66 years! I am now a big fan and will look for more of your work because I know it is Quality.

Today we had the opportunity to watch your film, Molly’s Game, as a result of self isolation slow down. 🙂 At the conclusion of the film I was led to ask God to help me get back up from the sticks that had tripped me up in life. Your film caused me to metaphorically compare its main character and her story to my own story and players in a way that nothing recently has. As a ministers wife and leader and encourager in my profession and religious community that may seem odd for some to understand. Thank you for answering the call to let the light of your talent shine around the world. You blessed me and gave me hope that I can get back up from life’s falls personally and we will get back up from the stick of COVID-19 globally.
I pray that you and all you love are safe,

My husband and I just watched the HBO special, having recently finished the full series (our fourth time through). Already intimate with the Hartsfield’s Landing episode, seeing it staged like this was an enormous pleasure. Now I want to see them all like this.
I celebrate your prodigious skill and craft, the artful ways you harness your passion and brilliance to enlighten, inform and always to entertain. Magnificent food for the heart and soul. I pray the weeks ahead answer our prayers!
Deepest gratitude to you for your enduring gifts…
P.S. I loved your Master Class

Hi Aaron, just a quick thank you for how inspiring, uplifting, empowering and engaging your Masterclasses are!
I’ve gone from shy nutrition/science journalist who accidentally started writing her first novel, to no fear, no B.S, pulling it apart, putting it back together, intensifying it, strengthening it, and contemplating it’s adaption to screen play; all because of your Masterclass.
So, I thank you so much!
November 7, 2020 at 10:16 pm
The West Wing is my favorite TV show. I know Mr. Sorkin said that if he had a good idea for a second show he would make it. We need the West Wing now more than ever. Sam Seaborn was always going to run for president, but what happens if the government he inherits is this exact mess we are in, an election after a bitter fight with an autocratic White nationalist? I would love to see a multicultural and multiracial female Vice President. This is the plot: How do we heal our country? How do we bridge the divide? How can we find our humanity again?
November 19, 2020 at 5:23 pm
I cold send an attachment, I’m get a lot of good reviews. I admire your writing very much. I’m the one hoe has no experience just an idea. I don’t trust these people calling me.
December 28, 2020 at 1:44 am
I am really enjoying your Masterclass on screen writing. I have no ambitions to be one but I like your wisdom. I am a writer myself, teach it at the college level and am appalled at the writing facility of my students. But that’s another story.
After seeing CNN say that “a senator must partner with a member of Congress to object to …” blah blah I was annoyed because a senator IS a member of Congress. The writer meant a member of the House of Representatives, as someone with even a rudimentary understanding of Civics would know.
I find myself daydreaming about a three part series with the cast of the West Wing teaching the fundamentals of Civics, in the engaging way that your screenplays do.. We need it more than ever, and textbook approach doesn’t seem to be working. Only 11 states mandate a full year of Civics, 30 states require a half year, and eleven don’t require it at all.
I don’t know how to pay for it, or how to distribute it or anything except that I am appalled by the lack of understanding of the importance of citizenship and our individual and collective roles in understanding how democracy works and our privilege to participate. If anyone can get this done, I think it is you.

Is the live television performance for “A Few Good Men” still a reality? If so, and I know this is a very distant stretch, I would be humbled to read for Kaffee or any other part. I promise you this will not be a waste of time.
February 27, 2021 at 5:07 pm
Hi Mr. Sorkin
I’m skipping all praise for your work.
At 99 years of age, I am skipping lots of things.
I am writing (never did before) in hopes of interesting you in a story (project) of unusual interest that will grip you. My son works at the FDA. I forgot his exact title. Every time I get a chance I listen to his absorbing tales.
He wants to write a book when he retires but I know he will never retire.
I would like to hint at the type of things that will make you sit up and listen.
There are children who are going to die before they reach adulthood. The disease is unwavering.
They are missing an ingredient in their bodies. Along came a pharmaceutical company who promises hope in the form of their new drug. They had little or no likelihood of getting FDA approval. Instead, they went to the parents of many if the twenty thousand sufferers and gave them a chance to be in a trial for the drug. Along with the drug came great promises of renewed energy for the children and more.
The parents were in a group with others under the same circumstances. In a short while, the word spread across the country like a raging fire. The drug was a miracle. The FDA was besieged with phone calls to approve the drug. Politicians were overwhelmed with complaints of the slow-moving approvals. Politicians wrote many letters to the FDA asking for quick approval. Parents called my son and threatened him if he were not to give immediate approval. All this for the sake of the children. All this when the drug was worthless. By the way many parents bought stock in the company. Twists and turns in the story continue at a quick pace.
The drug company was facing hundreds of millions of dollars in profit as opposed to bleakness.
I have just touched on all that happened.
The story continues. You must write it.
As for my son who is going to write this great book or screen play, he is a physician ( Cardiologist) who refused to listen to complaints about patient’s bowel movements and went on to be a distinguished scientist.
He represents the country when attending foreign meeting. His signature is required for either of us to get many drugs. He is not aware of this letter.
I know the whole story but cannot wait for your execution.
There is so much more that goes on at the FDA. Keep taking your Statin.
I am Sam Unger now living with my son (Covid) in Bethesda. My home is in Florida.

unfortunate to read Sorkin’s flippant comments regarding the Lucy picture. Historical and cultural inaccuracies were not difficult to fix, and were ignored. Nicole’s brows and lips were very incorrect, as well as Bob Carroll’s lack of brows and beard.

My story is one for David Sedaris. 20 and no money to go to college I got a job in sales. Cold call was my bread n butter. The Covid hit and the business was dead but I never felt good about what I was doing. The fool I was I took out a $30k to go to culinary school and get a job where I’d like to learn and hone my skill. 1 month In my job I got in a accident outside work, causing me to get shoulder surgery. Yata yata. I knew if I put 0.01% of thought towards negative thoughts I’d snowball so I put my Focus in this Adult humor sitcom or feature. I’m thinking Feature but maybe like how Over the Garden wall dod their 11min 10ep and cuts of the story that lead to the end reality of trash and ppl are the same

In response to a video of Michael Douglas bewailing our nation’s problems but offering no solutions, I suggest we needed a hit TV series written by you.
I got the idea from a TV series ETHOS, focusing on characters from incongruent segments of Turkish society. I think we need a similar American series showing an everyday member of the far right community, a powerful Big Business leader, a moderate Republican, a moderate Democrat, and a bleeding liberal, all having interacting with each other. No names of their political stances would be mentioned. The things that happen would have to reflect the motivations and values of each member of each group and somehow show how they affect each other and society in general. It wouldn’t promote any particular set of values and priorities or any political stance, but just show how actions based on different values and stances affect other human beings.
In the Turkish TV series, a traditional Islamic woman, amazingly, visits a psychiatrist, and that lets us into her world with a military vet brother who has an anger problem, his wife who is inexplicable depressed, a Kurdish neighbor who is kind and serves as a
spiritual father to his community, a a wealthy male who is a sexual predator, etc. It has been popular in Turkey since late 2020 and has eight episodes.

My name is Khalil and I’m a big fan of what you create and write, you’re very inspirational! After looking at your website I’d like to manage and keep it updated. My company 1303management.com is just like GoDaddy, Domain, Hosting, and Security. One big difference is I manage entertainers, athletes, corporations, and non-profit entities, My company is based in LA and I’m also a native. If interested contact me at 1303management.com or call me directly at 323.498.2410.
